Video: Crying France fan consoled by young Portugal supporter after Euro 2016 final

A young Portugal fan consoles a teary France supporter at the end of the Euro 2016 final in Paris.

A devastated France fan was consoled by a young Portugal supporter after he witnessed his team lose the Euro 2016 final in Paris on Sunday night.

A video has gone viral on social media of the youngster hugging the teary fan following the conclusion of Portugal's 1-0 win at the Stade de France.

The match was pushed into extra time, but substitute Eder prevented the showdown from going to penalties as he struck in the 109th minute.

Portugal were without captain Cristiano Ronaldo from the 25th minute onwards after the Real Madrid star was stretchered off the pitch with a knee injury.
