Former Glamorgan cricketer Jamie Bishop is found dead at his flat in Swansea.

Former Glamorgan cricketer Jamie Bishop was found dead at his flat in Swansea on Friday.

South Wales Police have confirmed that the death of the 44-year-old is not being treated as suspicious.

Glamorgan chief executive Hugh Morris said via the club's official website: "Our thoughts are with Jamie's family at this difficult time.

"Jamie was a hugely talented cricketer who had an outstanding record at club level for Pontarddulais CC, and who represented Wales with distinction at minor county and international level."

Bishop played for the team's second XI between 1989 and 1994.
