Hamburger SV midfielder Rafael van der Vaart has stepped out publicly for the first time with reported new girlfriend Sabia Boulahrouz following his split from his wife Sylvie.
According to the Daily Mail, the former Tottenham Hotspur player has been dating Sabia, wife of former Netherlands defender Khalid Boulahrouz, for a number of months after admitting to hitting his former wife during a row.
Van der Vaart happily posed for photographs with Sabia, who is said to have had a friendship with Sylvie before the split, at the Night of Legends event in Hamburg.
Van der Vaart ended his marriage on New Year's Eve.
