Tom Huddlestone has raised over £25,000 for charity 'Cancer Research UK' by growing his hair during a goal drought.
The Hull City midfielder, who ended a 32-month wait for a goal in the team's 6-0 win over Fulham yesterday, had hoped to raise as much as £75,000 by delaying his hair cut.
The 27-year-old has received over 1,000 donations through his 'Just Giving' page.
Huddlestone celebrated his goal by snipping a chunk of his hair off on the sideline at the KC Stadium, but has vowed to have the rest cut in the near future.
