Liverpool nightclub 'baffled by rumours of Steven Gerrard's DJ ambitions'

Nightclub Garlands are reportedly baffled by reports that Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard is keen on becoming a DJ when his playing career is over.

Liverpool nightclub Garlands have expressed their confusion at reports that Steven Gerrard is planning to embark on a career as a DJ when he hangs up his boots.

It was suggested earlier this month that the Reds captain has been having lessons on the decks since performing at Garlands.

However, those from Carry On Miss-Behavin at Garlands have told the Liverpool Echo that Gerrard tried his hand at DJ-ing just once back in 2006 as part of a bet with former teammate Peter Crouch.

Despite the midfielder not returning since then, the nightclub are planning to invite Gerrard back for this Sunday's Mother's Day Special following Liverpool's clash against Tottenham Hotspur.
