Liverpool star Raheem Sterling amused by rumours he's fathered eight children

Liverpool star Raheem Sterling has claimed that he wants to meet the person who began rumours that he has fathered eight children.

The England international, who turned 20 last month, has one young daughter from a previous relationship, but last year reports claimed that the player had more than one child in his brood.

When asked by Sport Magazine to name the funniest rumour that he's read about himself, Sterling said: "The kids thing, definitely. I don't know where that stuff came from, but I'd love to meet the person who came up with it. It's so random."

In the interview, Sterling also claimed that he would prefer to get stuck in a lift with either Jordan Henderson or Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain because "they're good fun and easy to get on with".
