James Milner has laughed off a parody Twitter account that labels the Manchester City midfielder as 'boring'.
The England international, who is currently preparing for the World Cup with the national side, gets mocked on social media by a user with the handle @BoringMilner.
The account, which has attracted almost 250,000 followers, posts regular tweets on mundane subjects, such as the weather and cups of tea.
When asked about the account, Milner told reporters: "It's good fun. I've read a few of them, and some of them are very funny.
"We went through this [at the club] wondering who it was. There were a few tweets about Asda so I was asking the masseurs where they shopped. I don't think it's at the club, no. Who knows? It's good fun."
I've just taken my shoes off and realised I've been wearing one sock inside out all day. I told Gary Cahill & he said it was really funny.
