Micah Richards plays prank on PR staff

Manchester City defender Micah Richards has played a prank on members of the club's PR staff, convincing them that he injured his hamstring while filming a TV advert.

After slipping during a rehearsal, the England man tricked marketing manager Jane Farquhar and photographer Sharon Latham into believing that he had pulled his hamstring.

Richards, who was put up to the stunt by Paul Mulholland from the club's online TV channel, effortlessly kept a straight face throughout.

The 25-year-old eventually cracked and came clean, much to the relief and amusement of the PR employees.
