Manchester United first-team players Wayne Rooney, Phil Jones and Rafael reportedly played a round of golf shortly after manager David Moyes was sacked.
The Red Devils opted to cut ties with the Scotsman on Tuesday less than 10 months after he was appointed as Sir Alex Ferguson's successor.
In Moyes's statement via the League Managers' Association, he thanked Ferguson and his coaching staff, but there was no mention of the United players.
According to the Daily Mail, Rooney, Jones and Rafael were spotted playing golf at a course in Dunham, South Manchester less than 24 hours after Moyes's dismissal.
The players are yet to comment on Moyes's exit.
