Noel Gallagher writes MCFC on Gary Neville's guitar

Gary Neville has revealed that former Oasis guitarist and Manchester City supporter Noel Gallagher wrote MCFC on his guitar when the former England international asked him to sign it.

The retired Manchester United defender recently met the musician when he interviewed him as part of his role as a television pundit ahead of the Manchester derby, which was won by City.

Gallagher wrote MCFC on the front of the United Jack-patterned guitar, while writing on the back that Neville did not deserve any of his England caps:

Gallagher previously defaced a Gibson Les Paul belonging to United striker Wayne Rooney with blue paint and City slogans.
