Wayne Rooney 'favourites' tweet about ex-prostitute he previously bedded?

Manchester United and England captain Wayne Rooney reportedly appeared to 'favourite' a tweet sent about former prostitute Helen Wood, whom he previously slept with.

The 29-year-old, who scored on his 100th cap for England in Saturday's 3-1 win over Slovenia, no longer has the tweet in question among his list of 'favourites'.

According to The Mirror, Rooney's Twitter account, which could have been hacked, took a liking to a tweet which contained two pictures of Wood wearing underwear, with the message: "Could I have you as a present under my tree @Helen_Wood86 x"

A number of Twitter users commented that Rooney had added the tweet to his list of favourites and Wood herself claimed: "@LouisBoz @JackHesselden erm, am I seeing things? What the actual hell?"

Back in 2010, Wood claimed that the striker had paid £1,000 for a threesome with her and friend Jenny Thompson while his wife Coleen was five months pregnant with their first son Kai.
