Wayne Rooney reportedly refused to sign Manchester United memorabilia during a book signing.

The England international, who recently recovered from a sinus infection, has been doing book-signing events for Wayne Rooney: My Decade in the Premier League.

It is believed that a number of fans turned up this week at Waterstones in Manchester with United shirts and posters for the 27-year-old to sign but he refused to give them his signature, according to The Sun.

Meanwhile, Rooney is in contention to feature for the Red Devils against Norwich City this weekend.
