Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney reportedly tuned into God TV after playing in his side's defeat to Stoke City on Saturday.
As a result of the Red Devils' 2-1 defeat to the Potters at the Britannia at the weekend, United are 15 points off Premier League leaders Arsenal.
According to the Plymouth Herald, Rooney wrote on Twitter in the early hours of Sunday morning saying: "@godtv I'm watching and feel you. Much love."
The message was later deleted after the 28-year-old received a barrage of tweets poking fun at the England international.
