Son of Manchester United's Wayne Rooney visits Barcelona stars

The son of Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney met a number of Barcelona's first-team stars during a trip to the Spanish city recently.

The England skipper, who is father to sons Kai, five, and two-year-old Klay, has faced criticism for his performances in the early stages of this season.

Rooney's son, though, appears to have been watching the stars in La Liga as opposed to his father as Coleen Rooney posted on Twitter that she had taken her boy Kai to meet Lionel Messi, Neymar, Luis Suarez and Gerard Pique.

Along with a collage of pictures, Coleen tweeted: "Brilliant weekend in Barcelona!! Thanks @3gerardpique , Kai had the best time ever and is a very lucky boy!!"
