Sky Sports want Paul Scholes to continue punditry visits?

Sky Sports were reportedly so impressed with Paul Scholes's rare punditry that they are planning to invite the ex-Manchester United star back in the future.

Sky Sports are reportedly planning to invite ex-Manchester United star Paul Scholes to carry out future punditry stints following his appearance in midweek.

The retired midfielder, who usually stays away from the media, was part of Sky's expert panel alongside Graeme Souness for Tuesday night's Manchester derby.

The 39-year-old gave a frank assessment of his former side's 3-0 defeat to local rivals Manchester City at Old Trafford.

According to the Daily Mail, after hearing that Scholes enjoyed his punditry stint, Sky are planning to ask him back for future matches.

Reports have claimed that regular analyst Gary Neville convinced his former teammate to take on the studio role.
