Hollywood star Tom Cruise attended the Manchester derby at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday along with fellow actor Robert Duvall.
The 50-year-old chartered a private helicopter to fly him and his American compatriot to the game from Hertfordshire, where he is shooting for his new movie 'All You Need Is Kill'.
"This is the first game that I've seen in England," Cruise told Sky Sports News before the match.
"I've been following it since the eighties so I'm just excited that I'm able to be here."
'"He (David Beckham) wishes he was here," added Cruise. "I got an email from him, he's jealous that I'm here."
Manchester United defeated Manchester City 3-2 to go six points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
