Wayne Rooney welcomes third son Kit

Wayne Rooney has announced that wife Coleen has given birth to their third son.

Posting on Twitter, the Manchester United striker confirmed that the boy had been named Kit and arrived early on Sunday.

He wrote: "Our gorgeous little boy arrived today. Kit Joseph Rooney. 8lb 1oz. We are over the moon."

The Rooneys have two other sons together, six-year-old Klay and two-year-old Kai.
