Mercedes Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton has rejected reports that he is engaged to American singer Nicole Scherzinger.
Rumours surfaced over the weekend claiming that the former Pussycat Doll had accepted the sportsman's marriage proposal after recently rekindling their romance.
However, when asked if he was engaged, Hamilton told The Mirror: "No, I'm not."
Scherzinger sparked speculation when she was spotted arriving at Heathrow Airport on Sunday with a ring on her marriage finger, but it was removed before she left the airport.
Meanwhile, Hamilton was forced to retire during Sunday's race at the Melbourne Grand Prix, which was won by his teammate Nico Rosberg.
