Formula 1 ace Lewis Hamilton denies rumours he is dating global popstar Rihanna

Formula 1 ace Lewis Hamilton has denied reports that he is dating global superstar Rihanna.

The Mercedes F1 driver has been romantically linked to the 27-year-old ever since they were spotted partying at a carnival in Barbados last month.

The pair have also recently been spotted together at 10ak nightclub in New York and then again in the Big Apple on a separate date.

However, Hamilton has poured doubt over a romance by telling E! News: "You know, I've known Ri for a long time. We've been friends for a while. We get to hang out every now and again, otherwise, we're just good friends."

Hamilton split up with his on-off girlfriend of seven years Nicole Scherzinger in February this year.
