Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton has said that it is important for him to enjoy every day of his life because he doesn't know when it will be his last.
The 30-year-old, who recently broke up with girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger, began the defence of his F1 title in strong fashion by winning the Australian Grand Prix last weekend.
During his downtime, the sportsman told men's lifestyle magazine Man of the World that he likes to relax with his friends at a 'Mega Zone' that he created at his homes in Colorado and Monaco.
"Of course you have to work, but I like to maximize every day, enjoy it, because you never know when it's your last," Hamilton told issue 11 of the magazine.
"I'm very, very, very conscious of that, so I just like to make sure I enjoy the time I get, and I like to share it with people. That's why we have the Mega Zone. I like to share it with all my friends."
Hamilton will compete in the Malaysian Grand Prix for Mercedes from March 27.
