A series of emails, including one to fashion designer Tom Ford, sent from New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady have reportedly been read out in court.
The messages were disclosed during the hearing over the deflated balls controversy, which resulted in Brady being issued with a four-game suspension.
According to the New York Post, in one email to his manager, Brady complained about the colour of his $8,500 (£5,472) swimming pool cover.
He wrote: "What kind of morons don't have a white cover? Can we check with another company? These fucking idiots, why don't we have that same cover for the year-round cover?"
Another email was sent to an executive of designer Tom Ford, and it read: "I was wondering if there was anything new to show me or any updates on the polos with the rugby fabric. Also, do you have any black sneakers in the high top in my size or any suit fabrics?"
The report adds that Vancouver Canucks owner Francesco Aquilini contacted Brady about meeting him for dinner, and the NFL star requested a donation to his education charity in return.
