Newcastle United's flight to Bordeaux was grounded for over three hours this afternoon because of snow.
The Magpies' flight had been due to take off at 2pm, but snow covered the runway at Newcastle Airport, meaning that they did not leave until 5.30pm.
As a result of the delay, the squad ended up eating their in-flight meal before they were in the air.
Newcastle play Bordeaux in the Europa League tomorrow evening.
