Newcastle United defender Jamaal Lascelles has appeared in court over an alleged assault at a bar in Derby.
The 21-year-old is accused of assault occasioning actual bodily harm following an incident on April 23.
Lascelles has been bailed until March 11, when he is expected back in court to enter a formal plea to the charge.
The England Under-21 international is currently on a season-long loan at Nottingham Forest.
