Absolute Radio secure commentary rights for NFL season

Absolute Radio announce that they have secured the commentary rights for the NFL season.

Absolute Radio have announced that they will provide coverage of the NFL season after securing the commentary rights for American football.

Absolute Radio 90s will broadcast 20 games on Sunday nights over the course of the season, starting from 9pm with Fox and Sky Sports broadcaster Adam Hunt, while Darren Fletcher will commentate on the Super Bowl for the main station.

"NFL is an amazing spectacle and I'm really looking forward to the Wembley games and the Super Bowl," said Fletcher. "Absolute Radio listeners are going to love hearing all the action from America's biggest sport."

The station will also provide commentary for the two UK fixtures at Wembley on September 29 and October 27. The season begins on September 8 with the Green Bay Packers taking on the San Francisco 49ers.
