Muhammad Ali calms health rumours by posting Instagram selfie

Ali dispels health rumours with selfie

Boxing legend Muhammad Ali appears to have rubbished rumours that his health is deteriorating by posting a photo of himself on Instagram.

The 72-year-old, who is widely regarded as the greatest boxer of all time, has been dogged by rumours that he is close to death.

However, Ali, who has Parkinson's disease, suggested that his health is fine after posting an image of himself on Saturday wearing a red Louisville Cardinals shirt to cheer on the side against the Kentucky Wildcats.

The retired heavyweight fighter joined Instagram last month and has acquired 121,000 followers after posting nine photos.
