Former footballer David Beckham has suggested that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge should name their newborn baby David if it's a boy.
The former England captain, who became close with Prince William during London's Olympic bid in 2007, believes that the royal couple will take to parenting easily.
"They're going to be amazing parents because they are so loving towards children," Beckham told Sky News.
"We've seen William grow from that young boy into an unbelievable gentleman. And that as a father is really important."
When asked what name they should give their newborn, Beckham said: "David's pretty good, if it's a boy of course."
Beckham has four children with former Spice Girls singer Victoria.
