Beckham wins dads' sports day race

Recently-retired footballer David Beckham reportedly came first in the dads' race during his son Cruz's school sports day.

The 38-year-old, who retired from the game at the end of a five-month stint at Paris Saint-Germain, moved back to the UK with his family after five years in the United States.

During the annual sports day at the London school, Beckham comfortably finished the 100m race ahead of all the other fathers to win a gold medal, according to The Sun.

Beckham's wife Victoria also took part in the mums' race, but was beaten by Stella McCartney.
