Jimmy Bullard laughs off jibes about his shirt during BBC broadcast

Jimmy Bullard jokes that his shirt 'broke Twitter' after his outfit was ridiculed on social media during BBC's broadcast of the FA Cup clash between Arsenal and Hull.

Former footballer Jimmy Bullard was able to look at the funny side when he was criticised on social media for his choice of shirt during the BBC's live FA Cup broadcast.

The 36-year-old was a pundit during Arsenal's 2-0 win over Hull City in the third round of the FA Cup at the Emirates on Sunday evening.

Bullard, who was joined by Alan Shearer and host Gary Lineker, was mocked on Twitter for wearing a black dinner jacket and silk shirt, which was partially unbuttoned to the chest.

After the broadcast, Bullard tweeted: "Think my shirt has broken my Twitter. Thanks to @GaryLineker and Big Al & everyone @BBCMOTD for having me and Peter Stringfellow for the shirt x JB."
