Tom Daley has admitted that working on ITV reality show Splash! has been a welcome distraction from his "main priority" of diving.
The 20-year-old, who won a bronze medal at the London 2012 Olympic Games, has served as a mentor to a number of celebrities on the TV show over the last two series.
Along with that, the sportsman recently starred in ITV2 documentary Tom Daley Goes Global, where he joined his best friend Sophie Lee in a backpacking trip around Thailand and Australia.
Daley told reporters: "There's lots of things that I've done since the Olympic Games, things like Splash. [They've] been a massive help to me in a way that's hard to explain because I'm not at school any more, and if I was just sat at home doing nothing, it kind of fries your brain. You have to have other things to do."
Daley, who is in a relationship with Oscar-winning director Dustin Lance Black, will lead a 15-strong Team England diving group at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow next month.
