Former Aston Villa footballer Dion Dublin has released a Christmas album containing funk and ska covers of traditional festive carols.
The 45-year-old, who can play the saxophone and is manager of a number of bands, reworked festive classics in styles such as funk, ska, reggae and gospel.
"It's something I've wanted to do for years and I'm so happy with how it has all turned out," the Daily Star quotes Dublin as saying.
"It's Christmas songs but like you've never heard them before - there's a funk version of 'Deck The Halls' and a ska version of 'Walking In The Air'. I'm really quite passionate about music so this is great for me."
The album, which costs £5.99, will benefit the Bobby Moore Foundation, with one pound from each sale being donated.
