Glenn Hoddle 'signs up as pundit for ITV's World Cup coverage'

ITV reportedly sign up former England manager Glenn Hoddle as a pundit for their World Cup coverage in Brazil this summer.

Former England manager Glenn Hoddle has reportedly been recruited by ITV to act as a pundit during their World Cup coverage in Brazil this summer.

The 56-year-old, who has previously been linked with a return to management at Tottenham Hotspur, is said to have been lined up due to Roy Keane's absence, as he will instead be coaching with the Republic of Ireland.

According to the Daily Mail, Hoddle will also be part of ITV's team for England matches ahead of the tournament, starting with the Three Lions' friendly against Denmark on March 5.

Reports have claimed that Hoddle will continue appearing for Sky Sports in their domestic football coverage, as well as featuring on Premier League coverage for Al Jazeera's BeIN Sport.
