ITV has announced that Mark Pougatch has been appointed as the channel's new football presenter.
The broadcaster will replace Adrian Chiles, who began working with ITV in 2010, in a sudden shake-up to the channel's sports coverage.
Pougatch will begin his new role on February 17 when Paris Saint-Germain take on Chelsea in the last 16 of the Champions League.
The new addition to the ITV presenting team will also anchor coverage of live England internationals, as well as other European fixtures on the calendar.
"I am absolutely delighted to be joining ITV and to be given this great opportunity," said Pougatch. "I'm looking forward to working with ITV's talented pool of commentators and pundits on some of the very best football there is."
ITV director of sport Niall Sloane added: "Mark is a highly respected sports journalist and an outstanding broadcaster. We're delighted to welcome Mark to the ITV Sport team."
Pougatch has presented at numerous sporting events, including World Cups and Olympic Games.
