American rapper Jay-Z has moved into the world of sport by setting up his own agency Roc Nation Sports.
The 43-year-old, who is married to popstar Beyonce, has signed his first client in the form of New York Yankees baseball star Robinson Cano.
"I am confident that the pairing of Roc Nation Sports and CAA Sports will be essential in helping me accomplish my short and long-term goals," the Daily Mail quotes Cano as saying.
"I am making this important decision now so I can keep my focus on helping the Yankees succeed in 2013, while minimising any distractions for me and my teammates."
Cano is currently in the final year of his contract.
