Mohamed Farah is voted fourth in the 2012 BBC Sports Personality of the Year with 8.07% of the total votes cast.

Mohamed Farah finished fourth in the BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2012 award.

The 5,000m and 10,000m Olympic champion picked up 8.07% of the 1.5m votes cast on Sunday.

Bradley Wiggins, the Tour de France and Olympic time trial champion, mustered 30.25% of the votes to win the prestigious award.

Jessica Ennis won 22.92% of the votes to finish second, while Andy Murray came third with 14.17%.
