Emma Raducanu heads a six-strong group of British sports stars who have received nominations for the 2022 Laureus World Sports Awards.
Fellow tennis player Andy Murray won the World Breakthrough Of The Year award back in 2013, and compatriot Raducanu is one of six candidates for the same accolade this year after coming through qualifying to win the US Open.
The United Kingdom dominates the World Comeback Of The Year category with skateboarder Sky Brown, cyclist Mark Cavendish and diver Tom Daley all being recognised for their achievements over the past 12 months.
Legendary Paralympian Sarah Storey is nominated for the World Sportsperson Of The Year With A Disability Award after winning a further three gold medals in Tokyo.
BMX rider Bethany Shriever completes the British contingent by being selected for the World Action Sportsperson Of The Year Award.
The winners will be announced during a virtual show in April.
