'Soccer Saturday' to cover late kickoffs live?

Sky Sports football show Soccer Saturday will reportedly extend their coverage by bringing updates of late kickoffs to viewers.

The weekly programme, which is hosted by Jeff Stelling, gives regular updates and select commentary from pundits for all matches from the football calendar.

While the show generally covers the 3pm kickoffs only, it is believed that Stelling will anchor the show for the matches, which get underway at 5.30pm on Saturdays, according to the Daily Mail.

It is said that the decision has been made in order to compete with BT Sport's Premier League coverage from next season.
