Sports stars turn to baking for Sport Relief

A hoard of sports stars utilise their baking skills for charity Sport Relief.

A host of stars from the world of sport have exercised their baking skills for charity Sport Relief.

Boxers Amir Khan and Natasha Jones, rugby star James Haskell, gymnast Louis Smith, Judoka Ashley McKenzie, paralympian and table tennis player Will Bayley and short track speed skater Elise Christie are among those involved.

As part of the initiative, Emma Bridgewater has designed special aprons, which are available to the public for purchase, with the funds going to charity.

"Please shop till you drop and purchase these fabulous Sport Relief Aprons from HomeSense & TK Maxx stores," the Daily Mail quotes Khan as saying. "I hope the Emma Bridgewater aprons will carry the Sport Relief message into thousands of homes and help transform the lives of some of the poorest and most disadvantaged people. Together let's make this the best Sport Relief year ever."

Sky Sports News presenter Kirsty Gallacher is also involved.
