Parma manager Roberto Donadoni has put football matters aside to mourn the death of his father Ercole.
The 49-year-old has received support from the Serie A outfit as well as tributes from his former club AC Milan.
Parma released a statement on their official website, which said: "President Tommaso Ghirardi, general manager Pietro Leonardi, the management, coaching staff and employees of Parma FC are with coach Donadoni in the moment of mourning over the loss of his father Ercole and express their deepest condolences to him and his family."
Milan stated: "The whole of Milan football club would like to send out our most heart felt condolences to our dear friend Roberto Donadoni and all his family following the death of his father Ercole Donadoni."
Donadoni spent two stints at Milan in the 1980s and 1990s during his playing career.
