Ronaldo unveils waxwork at museum

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has unveiled a waxwork of himself at his new museum in his hometown of Funchal, Portugal.

The 28-year-old officially opened the CR7 museum, which is dedicated to the Portugal captain's achievements on the field, on Sunday.

After inviting fans and the press into the museum, Ronaldo posed for photographs alongside a life-size waxwork of the sportsman donning his number 7 Portugal kit.

"Of course it's a special day, it's the opening of my museum and I am proud," Ronaldo told reporters.

Ronaldo, who has scored 33 goals this season, could add this year's FIFA Ballon d'Or trophy to the museum as he is currently favourite for the gong.
