US television network NBC use Gareth Bale for their advertising campaign by placing his image on a billboard in New York.

Tottenham Hotspur star Gareth Bale has become the focal point for NBC's Premier League advertising campaigns.

The US network, which won the rights to show matches from England's elite league next season, have been broadcasting television adverts and placing billboards around the country.

The Wales international has appeared in his white Spurs strip on an advertising billboard in Times Square, New York, according to the Daily Mail.

Throughout the summer, Bale has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid.
