Report: Stoke City launch investigation into fighting fans

Stoke City are reportedly expected to open an internal investigation after fans were caught fighting during the FA Cup defeat at Blackburn Rovers.

Stoke City are expected to launch an internal investigation after some of their supporters were seen fighting during today's FA Cup game with Blackburn Rovers.

Fans at Ewood Park were caught in a skirmish with some stewards, who were reportedly trying to assist a woman who had fainted.

The Daily Mail claims that Potters fans had been complaining that Blackburn supporters were throwing bottles at them before the incident, in which one person is said to have been injured.

Championship side Blackburn won the match 4-1 after the first-half dismissal of Geoff Cameron.
