A Stoke City season ticket holder has been driving around the Britannia Stadium with a 'Hughes Out' sign attached to his car - before Mark Hughes has even been unveiled as the manager.
Carl, who did not wish to reveal his surname, believes that Hughes should not be made manager of the Potters.
"It is not just me, it is the thoughts of 90% of Stoke fans. Security made me move on from the Britannia so I drove around," Carl told BBC Sport.
"I parked on motorway bridges and people were beeping their support at me and taking photos.
"He is not a long-term appointment, look at his track record, but it looks as though he is going to be appointed anyway."
After a five-year spell in charge of Wales, Hughes managed Blackburn Rovers, Manchester City, Fulham and Queens Park Rangers.
