A piece of the original World Cup trophy has been found in a basement at FIFA headquarters.
In 1970, Brazil were allowed to keep the Jules Rimet gold statuette following their third World Cup win, but it was stolen in 1983 and never seen again.
The octagonal piece, which is 10 centimetres tall, will be placed on display at the FIFA World Football Museum in Zurich.
"We think no FIFA president has seen it since Jules Rimet himself," creative director of FIFA's museum David Ausseil told The AP.
"We thought the base was lost in Brazil. It's like finding an Egyptian mummy. You can't put a price tag on it because it's family jewels."
The museum is due to open in March 2016.
