AP McCoy has revealed that he is likely to ride Double Seven in Saturday's Grand National at Aintree.
The 18-time champion has admitted that the Martin Brassil-trained horse is his "preference", but will not make a final decision until Thursday.
"After thinking long and hard, I am tending towards Double Seven," McCoy told The Telegraph. "However, he is a very ground-dependent horse and with the rain that is forecast for Aintree on Friday I just hope the going does not become too soft.
"I will not make a definite decision until Thursday morning, but he is my preference at the moment."
McCoy won the steeplechase with Don't Push It in 2010.
