Champion jockey Tony McCoy announces that he will retire at the end of the 2015 National Hunt season.

Champion jockey Tony McCoy has announced that he will retire from horse racing at the end of the 2015 National Hunt season.

The 40-year-old made the announcement this afternoon after securing his 200th win of the campaign.

The Northern Irishman has over 4,300 career wins, and has been a champion jockey every season since turning professional - 19 times in total.

McCoy's only Grand National win came in 2010 on board Don't Push It.
