Czech Republic's Miroslava Knapkova has won gold in the women's single sculls.
Knapkova produced one of the standout performances of the rowing events at the Olympic Games to win the gold medal, with Denmark's Fie Erichsen winning silver and Australia's Kim Crow earning the bronze.
Knapkova was in imperious form from start to finish and she had opened up a lead of nearly six seconds at the halfway mark.
The lead had been extended to over seven seconds with 500m remaining, and although she eased down towards the finish, she still won the race by over three seconds.
