Bradford Bulls recorded their first victory of the Super League season with a 14-6 win over Castleford Tigers this afternoon.
Jarrod Sammut crossed for the Bulls' opening score after eleven minutes, with Luke Gale adding the successful kick to give them a 6-0 lead.
Gale then converted a Tom Burgess try just before the break as Bradford went into half time 12-0 ahead.
The Tigers got themselves back into the game when Josh Griffin touched down ten minutes into the second period and Kirk Dixon added two more points with the boot.
However Gale kicked another successful effort before converting Brett Kearney's try three minutes from time to give the Bulls a 14 point advantage.
Richard Owen crossed for Castleford's second score of the match late on but it was too little too late as the Bulls hung on to claim the win.
