Hull Kingston Rovers have announced that Ryan Bailey has been released from his contract due to personal reasons after just one appearance for the club.
The 30-year-old moved to the outfit on a two-year deal last October following a 14-year spell with Leeds Rhinos.
However, due to Achilles and hamstring injuries, Bailey made just one appearance last month against Wakefield.
Bailey's agent Chris Orr told the club's official website: "I would like to thank Hull Kingston Rovers for the way they have conducted themselves during our discussions over the past few weeks.
"They have respected Ryan's right to privacy throughout this process and have offered him their full support. We couldn't have asked for anymore during what has been a difficult time in Ryan's private life, but it's now best to move on for all parties. We would like to wish Hull KR and their supporters all the best for the rest of the season."
Bailey won six Grand Finals, three World Club Challenge titles and one Challenge Cup during his time with Leeds.
