Hull Kingston Rovers staged a second-half comeback to defeat Wigan Warriors 22-20 in their Super League clash this afternoon.
The game had an even start as both teams struggled to get any forward momentum, but that changed when Ken Sio charged over the tryline in the 24th minute.
However, Wigan came roaring back into the match and tries from Joe Burgess and Lee Mossop handed them the lead in the 38th minute.
The visitors extended their advantage seconds before the break when Josh Charnley went over the line to put them in full control of the game.
Ian Thornley handed his side a commanding 20-6 advantage when he managed to find space to power over for the try.
Hull KR came back into the match as Sio notched his second of the game, while Mitch Allgood went over the line minutes later to bring the home side within four points.
Rovers kept their momentum and managed to complete the comeback in the 72nd minute as Kieran Dixon went in for the score to hand his team a hard-fought victory.
