Leeds Rhinos scored seven tries to ease to a 42-16 victory over Salford City Reds in the Super League this evening.
The home side defended well in the opening 20 minutes of the match as the Rhinos pushed for an early try, but Kallum Watkins managed to find a way through to break the deadlock half-way through the opening period.
Zak Hardaker doubled the advantage just two minutes later, while two further Leeds tries helped the visitors to a commanding 24-6 lead at the break.
Marc Sneyd put in a strong performance at the back for Salford in the second half, breaking up a series of Leeds attempts, before a Richard Moore tackle prevented him from adding a try of his own.
Theo Fages added the visitors' third try of the game, but the home side hit straight back, restoring a 26-point lead with five minutes left to play, which was enough to secure the win.
